Wendi Wright

My name is Wendi Wright and I live in the beautiful state of Virginia where we have the best of both worlds - mountains and the ocean. I am blessed to be able to be a SAHM to 3 wonderful children and am married to my wonderful husband, Ron. Besides scrapbooking, I enjoy shopping, photography, giant breed dogs, and wildlife rehabilitation.

I have been scrapping since the birth of my first son in 1998 and consider scrapbooking my creative outlet. Expressing my deepest thoughts on paper through photos or journaling make this hobby so enjoyable and meaningful. Along with the creative fun of scrapbooking, I am thrilled to be a part of the industry through the ownership of Scrapbook Playground, and through design work.

Lisa Turley

"Hi! My name is Lisa Turley (LisaT on the boards) and I’m very excited to be part of the design team here at Scrapbook Playground. I’m a Christian, wife, mother and registered nurse. I have been married to my husband, Jerry, for 8 years & have a 7 year-old daughter, Danielle, 10 year-old stepson, Matthew, & 21 year-old stepson Mike.

I have been scrapping for about 7 years & am completed addicted!I love seeing the expressions on my kids faces when they look through our albums & hearing them say “I remember that” or “where’s the picture of …” – I want them to be able to look at their books & feel how very special they are to me & how much I love them. Scrapbooking is the perfect opportunity to preserve memories, feelings, facts, hopes, dreams & so much more. I also find it to be a wonderful creative outlet for me & I love to go to weekend scrapbooking events. I love trying lots of new techniques & am definitely an embellishment addict. I would have to say my favorite techniques/embellishments are paper tearing, chalking, fibers & charms. I love sharing my passion for scrapbooking & my pages with others. I have been fortunate to have layouts published by Creating Keepsakes, Ivy Cottage & Paperkuts. I also work with several other design teams & teach scrapbooking classes at my local scrapstore & for several scrapbook event companies. In addition to my passions of scrapbooking & photography, I also love being outdoors, camping/hiking, walking on the beach & doing anything that involves spending time with my family. We’re fortunate that we live in Virginia & are close to both the beach & mountains!!

Shellie Hubbartt

Let me just say that I am so excited to be apart of this Design Team! I haven’t been a part of an online DT for a very long time, and I so look forward to sharing with everyone here.
I started scrapbooking in 1998 when my son was about 6 months old. Like many of you, I got started with creative memories, but quickly (like the first month) out grew their ideas with ideas of my own. I love using lumpy bumpy things on my pages, and experimenting with new products and ideas. My feeling is if it isn’t bio-degradable, then it is fair game for my pages, lol.

I currently work full time as a Nursing Supervisor in a large Trauma center. I scrapbook on my days off, and sometimes in between. I share my scrapspace with the laundry room, so I will leave my stuff out if I am working on a current project.

I live in beautiful western Colorado, about 30 miles from the Utah border. I have been with dh for 17 years, and we have 1 son who will be 7 in may, 2 girl dogs- daisy and peaches, so I do all my girly pages about them lol.

I am so looking forward to being a part of this team, I hope I can inspire you all just as I have been inspired for the little time I have been here. Looking forward to getting to know all of you in this community!

Corey Wagner

My name is Corey Wagner (haileesmommy on the boards!).  I’m 31 years old and live in Broken Arrow, OK, just east of Tulsa.

I have been married to my best friend, Darren, for 9 1/2 years (we’ve been together a total of 13).  We have a beautiful, happy daughter, Hailee, she’s 4 ½, and our big, chubby son, Braden, is 2 months old. We also have a 7 year old, energetic, Boston Terrier, Sammy.

I started scrapping in 2001 when a neighbor showed me her daughters CM baby book.   I never got into CM, but I immediately went to Hobby Lobby and bought a few, cheap supplies!  I did a few “pages”, lol, and thought I was doing some good stuff! HA!  Then I went to a crop at my lss and was wowed! When I found out I was pregnant with Hailee I started doing more, or I should say spending more!!  My “obsession” started around February 2005 when I found online forums and saw what amazing creations people were making.  I was so inspired by the galleries and what could be done with just the right materials!  Darren says he doesn’t know what I’m obsessed with more…actually scrapping or shopping for scrap stuff!

I’m so excited to be part of the team here.  This is the best place to be!!!!

Marti Cirillo

Hi! My name is Marti Cirillo, aka scrapalot on the boards. Of course, this doesn’t mean I scrap a lot, just when I can fit it in (maybe if I’d get off the computer…)! LOL I’m a stay-at-home-mom and love every minute of it. My wonderful husband Tom (11 years this September) and our two awesome kids, Maria (9) and Nick (7) keep me on my toes and extremely busy!

I’ve always been very busy with all kinds of crafts. I used to sell my wares at shows, until I was asked by a neighbor to attend a scrapbooking party. Well, the last thing I needed was another “craft” to become obsessed with and besides, I just didn’t have the time. She kept badgering me so I finally caved and went to the party. As they say, that was just the beginning! 11 years later scrapbooking has become my main craft obsession. I’m addicted – lately to brads, ribbons, flowers, and chipboard. I just can’t seem to get enough and if there’s a cure, I don’t want to know about it. I love to make cards and still dabble in some of my other crafts. I’m also an avid reader and collect Russian stamps.

I can’t tell you how excited I am joining this amazing team of women. I’m truly inspired in some way by each and every one of them. I look forward to sharing my work and to be amazed and awed by yours!

Thomisia Francois

 "My name is Thomisia and I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I am married to Ricky, a very loving and supportive man who was also my high school sweetheart. Tiara, Radiance, and Taavia are our three darling little divas.

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved photography and arts & crafts. So it only seems logical that I'm addicted to scrapbooking. I consider myself a simple scrapper who is drawn to clean designs. I love working with different textures and vivid colors because I feel scrapping should be fun and I try to show that in my work. I elieve you should have as much fun preserving the memories as you did making them.

Beth Colson

Hi!  My name is Beth (hoosier-scrapper on the boards) and I’ve been scrapping for about 7 years. I live in southern Indiana near all of my REALLY large family, and I wouldn’t want it any other way!  Most of the time I am a SAHM to my 3 daughters, ages 6, 5 and 3, but one day per week I work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at a local hospital.  I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 9 years in October.  I, like many, began scrapbooking while I was pregnant with my first child, and I never looked back. I consider my style eclectic. I like everything, and I will try anything once, but for the most part I go for a simple style with clean lines. I lean towards bright colors and simpler pages, but when I look through my scrapbooks I see a wide variety of colors and techniques. I also enjoy making cards, but mine are usually pretty quick and simple because I generally wait until the last minute to make them!

I am so excited to be a part of the design team here at the playground, and I look forward to sharing my pages and getting inspiration from all of the members here!!

Marit Cress

Hi! My name is Marit Cress (Marit on the boards). I'm from Norway and live in the land of the Midnight sun with my American husband and our two daughters (soon 2 and 6 years old). We have been married for 10 years now.

I started scrapbooking right after my oldest daughter was born in 1999, but I have been making memory books from vacations since I was 16. It was "scrapping light" - cutting out letters from magazines for titles, inluding coins from foreign countries, tickest from events etc in my albums. It wasn't until after my oldest daughter was born that I discovered that my hobby had a name. One of my American friends introduced me to scrapbooking and I was hooked from the second she showed me her first page. Scrapbooking didn't really hit Norway until last year (1994), so for a long time I was alone doing the thing I love. But now it's really become popular over here, too.

Scrapbooking is my great passion in life! It's my creative outlet after a busy day, and it relaxes me to sit down and scrap in the evenings. It's the best hobby in the world, and I hope I can inspire you in some way, like so many here has inspired me. I'm so thrilled to be part of the Scrapbook Playground team!

Marit also holds the title of "Scrapbook Playground Queen" as the winner of our 2005 Showdown at the Playground Contest!

Wendy Inman

Hi! My name is Wendy and I'm from Virginia Beach, VA. I'm married to my silly husband, Bob and we have one silly son Alex who is almost 4. I have been scrapbooking for about 3-4 years now and I'm totally addicted. I am also really into photography (love my Nikon D70!!). I consider my style to be simple, graphic, and whimsical. I LOVE to get inspiration from just about anywhere to incorporate into my scrapping. I'm also into digital scrapbooking! I use Paintshop ProX and have a great time just playing around and learning things. I have been fortunate to have been published multiple times and to have been chosen to be on the Paperkuts Power Team.  I love to inspire others to think outside the box and I love to learn from those around me.

Jamie Gavin

Hello my fellow scrappers, my name is Jamie.  I am a sahm to two beautiful daughters Sydnee who is 5 and Kynadee who is almost 4 who are alot of my inspiration in my scrapbooking.  We live in the beautiful State Of  Washington.  I have been scrapping for close to 10 years since the start of CTMH.  I scrap every chance I get and I am amazed at the way things are always changing in this hobby.  I will try anything once when it comes to my scrapboking.  If I had describe my style I would say simple but with a twist.  Scrapbooking for me is something that I will always do, I love the feeling you get when I complete a project, the thrill I get to be able to show it to others and know that it will be handed down for generations. I am thrilled and very honored to be a part of this wonderful team here at the Playground and I hope to inspire you through my work.

Kristi Hellyer

Sunny southwest Florida has been a great place to live, except of course for the hurricanes!  My husband and I moved here 6 years ago from Louisville, Kentucky and started our own business.  I am so grateful to be able to stay home with our wonderful little daughter and be a

"SAHM."  Ally has been such a blessing for us- my husband and I were married 14 years before she came along!      I really am easy to please:  I love going to the beach with my family, chocolate oreo cookies to be specific), and shopping!  And it goes without saying- I love scrapbooking!  It truly is more to me than just a hobby, though.  My mom created a scrapbook for me years ago, and it is all about me.  She kept little tidbits of my life that I never thought she kept.  I love that book because it shows her love and attention to the details of my life.  Now, I want to remember as many details of my daughters life, as well as those of everyone around me, as I possibly can.  

Sara Wise

Hi! My name is Sara. I am so excited to be part of the design team at Scrapbook Playground. I ive in Wasilla, Alaska and am slowly getting used to the winters here. BRRRR...... I have been teaching at my local scrapbook store for about 6 months and I love it!

I have been scrapbooking for about 10 years. What a fun and creative outlet for me. About 2 years ago I discovered internet groups and fun sites like Scrapbook Playground and I became even more involved with scrapbooking.
Another passion of mine is photography and I feel so blessed to have 3 willing subjects. My 3 boys are so photogenic and therefore are the main focus of most of my scrapbooking.

My husband Mike and I have been married for 7 years now and I feel so blessed to have him in my life. He is so supportive of me and is my best friend and confidant. I love to read, write, and play on the internet!
Chatting is so fun! I love to meet and chat with others who share my same passion!!
